Asia pacific Student Paper Competition Announcement


Hello everybody :D

Still have a big passion in Asia pacific Oil and Gas Intellectual Parade (OGIP) 2011??

Off course u should!!! :D

Hmm..Here, i would like to announce the selected papers that would be presented in Asia Pacific Student Competition of OGIP 2011 in UPN Yogyakarta, March 8th 2011.

First, on be half of SPC committees I would like to say thank you to all of you who participated this event. Congratulation for seven candidates who passed the selection and thanks to all participants who sent your abstract before.

After many considerations, the selected paper from 24 abstracts that have been submitted to the committees are:

1. Indonesia's Energy Challenge: Geothermal Energy Development and The Law Implementations. (Tulus Imaro from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia)

2. Water Injection Success Analysis. (Yayu Anggreiny, Giovanni Primavera Sianipar, and Mario Dela Fernando Ndruru from Trisakti University, Indonesia)

3. Decrease the Dependency of Using Petroleum Sulphonat as Petroleum-based Surfactant in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) by Using Natural Surfactant MES From Palm Oil. (Ahmad Arif Fadhlirrahman, Albert S.P. Pakpahan, and Zayda Zahara, from Gajah Mada University, Indonesia)

4. Migration Within Coal Pores By Lowering Temperature Trough Nitro Injection in Order to Increase Rate of Recovery and Production of CBM Well. (Tyas Karismasari from Gajah Mada University, Indonesia)

5. Gas Production Generated From Crude Oil Biodegradation : Application in Microbe Enhanced Oil Recovery (MEOR)(Kenny Lischer from University of Indonesia, Indonesia)

6. Extremophile Microbes Type IRSM-1 Consortium as Surfactant Producer
to Enhance Oil Recovery( Aditya Rinus P Putra, Muhammad Iqbal, Faris Najmudin, and Tangguh Muhammad yunus from University of Indonesia, Indonesia)

7.Alkaline Flooding Of Low Acid Number Crude Oil ( Aiman, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia)

Congratulations to the 7 teams who pass the Asia-Pacific Student Paper Contest OGIP 2011 selection. We hope you immediately complete the contest requirements (Fill out the registration form and pay registration fee of IDR 200,000/team)


Note:
1. Each member of the team must fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee. Date not later than February 16, 2011, send via email.
- Must use formal photo to fill the registration form.
- Form to be signed by Project Manager after participants pay the registration fee.
- Please transfer the registration fee to Account: 1001 563 258 (Wita Rosmala Sari A), Bank BRI Syariah KC Yogyakarta Yos Sudarso.

2. Presentation Details:
Slide presentation is about the explanation of the paper contains an outline. The duration of the presentation slides is no more than 10 minutes. With power point format, send via email, by subject Paper & Presentation SPC_OGIP2011 by March 1st, 2011.

3. Each team must create a poster in A3 size paper. It contains the outline of your paper. Be sure to include Author, Title of Paper, and University. Make it interesting with accompanying pictures or other support. (Poster taken on the day of the presentation)

4. There are maximal only 2 persons in each team that will go to Yogyakarta and all the accommodation here will be back up by the committees.
